It was an excellent sounding room. Yesterday we had them play Primus' Green Naugahyde on a 45 rpm LP. Lots of fun! Also heard Joni Mitchel's Court and Spark on tape, wonderful sound.

Ryan Speakers need to be better known. These are $16,500, but their $5,000 Model 630 in the Auralic room sounded exceptionally good, too.

Duh - sorry - you asked about preamp and I gave you dac info.
If memory serves, dac was the MSB Diamond, but I didn't take notes.
              Alex corrected preamp info below

They were sitting in the corner, not drawing attention to themselves. I couldn't tell they were in the system I turned to Randy and he nodded yes.

This room had Tidal speakers. I walked in just at they started playing violin music.
It may have been the best violin sample I've ever heard. I think well of Tidal speakers generally,
and these sounded just terrific - at least for that piece.

the two times I stopped by they played Floyd or Zeppelin. Dazed and confused never sounded better, me liked. IMO the 'table was the star, the first time i've heard or seen the Dohmann in the flesh.
