No, it looks like the timetable has been pushed back. The latest information is that the Horch House machine will be debuted at next year's Axpona. Not unusual for high-end. Can't tell you how many times a manufacturer says they are sending a product and it shows up six months later.

            World Premiere of Zesto's New
            Phonostage for 4 Tonearms
Thousand Oaks, CA, September 20, 2016 - Zesto Audio is pleased to announce the debut of their newest product, the Andros Téssera Phonostage. The official launch will take place at the annual Rocky Mountain Audio Fest in Denver, Colorado USA, October 7-9, 2016 in exhibit room 6011 at the Marriott Tech Center.

Téssera means 4 in Greek. This newest product from Zesto Audio is aptly named as it is designed to work with up to 4 different tonearms or turntables. George Counnas, President and Design Engineer for Zesto Audio says, "There are so many great specialized phono cartridges available today, I wanted to design a phonostage that was easy to use, while providing the necessary inputs to accommodate multiple tonearms and be able to save the settings when you switch between channels."
The Andros Téssera is built with a passion for analog, designed with 100% tube circuitry and no solid state devices anywhere in the signal path, as well as all switching is done with reed relays.
Building on the success of Zesto's original Andros Phonostage, George wanted to take it further, not only sonically but with more features resulting in a quieter, fuller and more dynamic sound.
Some of the new features include true transformer balance outputs driven by dedicated output tubes. The Andros Téssera has a new circuit design that is partnered with significantly upgraded larger MC step-up transformers to capture the most delicate signals in the grooves.
The Téssera is designed with 2 completely independent dual mono channels that can accommodate 1 MM and 1 MC per channel. It is easily adjustable "on the fly" 12 position MC load per channel without clicks or pops, so you can hear the changes, as well as save the settings when you switch between tonearms. One of the unique features is the 4 MC ground switches which helps to eliminate those noisy ground loops.
            Dual Chassis
The dual chassis design includes linear regulated power supplies with an extra-long 3 meter umbilical cable incorporating special RFI suppression for lower black levels.

It's nice because you can pretty much drive any cartridge out there and the unit is very quiet.

We are little more than a week away from another exciting RMAF in Denver. Lenbrook will be showing NAD and PSB in Room 8021 and Bluesound can be found in the MQA Rooms 8015 and 8017.

The big news for NAD at RMAF will be the new Classic DAC/Amps C 338, C 368 and C 388. These were just announced ten days ago and will soon be shipping! There is also a new CD player, the C 568.

On Masters Series, NAD will be previewing the M32 integrated amp and M50.2 Digital Music Player. These new models will be available by November.

NAD Announces Two New Masters Series Models:

Leading Digital Brand Expands the Excitement of High Performance, High-Res Audio

Offering only digital outputs, but including AES/EBU and HDMI, the only addition needed is a complementary DAC or Digital Preamp such as the companies own M12 and M17 models.

            NAD Masters Series M32

NAD has a storied history in integrated amplifiers dating back more than forty years. With the M32 however, NAD is reinventing the integrated amplifier, as we know it. DirectDigitalÔamplification combines all pre-amplification and power amplification functions into a single amplifying stage. With 150W X 2 on tap, the M32 is a true digital amp (not just Class D) that is computer controlled and amplifies entirely in the digital domain, converting to analog at the speaker terminals. This gives it the shortest signal path possible.

As for the M32’s advanced design architecture, flexibility and expandability are front and center. There are four MDC (Modular Design Construction) slots with three for customization and expandability and all are 24/192 capable.

Among the most compelling features on the M32 is that it is multi-room and high-res ready with the optional BluOS™ module that can occupy one of the MDC slots and fully integrate, literally becoming part of the M32. BluOS is an advanced operating system for music management and control that includes support for local NAS drives and premium internet streaming audio services like Spotify, Tidal and many others.

Users can control BluOS™ with any smart phone or tablet and can take advantage of extensive 3rd party control system integration for seamless system performance and reliability. Moreover, NAD products are fully compatible with Bluesound™ Wireless Multi-room systems for complete wired/wireless mix-and-match system flexibility.

            Inputs include:
            • AES/EBU, Coax and Optical, USB A and USB B
            • MM Phono Input
            • Single-ended Line Inputs
            • Asynchronous USB 2.0 (24/192) Computer Input
            • AES/EBU, Coax, and Optical 24/192 Inputs

On the output side, for personal audio aficionados, there is a dedicated high performance headphone amplifier with a ¼” jack on the front. Around back, the rear panel hosts two sets of speaker outputs capable of bi-wiring and a Subwoofer Output with a fully configurable Digital Crossover.

            M50.2

The M50.2 Digital Music Player is a major upgrade on the company’s landmark M50 introduced four years ago. Heralded as a bold step forward in digital music reproduction. the M50.2 proudly takes the baton and builds upon its predecessor’s legacy with a variety of performance upgrades and innovative features.

            NAD Masters Series M50.2

With the M50.2, the music lovers can simply network music throughout their home. They can do this effortlessly as they digitize and centrally store their music library and then make it available to other BluOS- enabled components throughout their home. In addition to the new and more refined cosmetics, the circuit layout and component choices for the C 568 have been extensively updated. Many of the techniques NAD has perfected for High Res Audio playback have been applied to the venerable CD format, including the high precision clock for lowest possible digital jitter performance, the latest generation Wolfson DAC, and the same Super OPAmps derived from NAD's Masters Series. The cumulative effect of these changes is dramatic, improving low frequency slam and extension, while maintaining the pace and timing for which the C 565BEE was so lavishly praised. Image depth and scale are further enhanced while retaining the timbral accuracy and lucid harmonic structure of its predecessor. In short, C 568 delivers best-in-class sound.

The new industrial design of the C 568 imparts a sleek new profile to the Classic NAD face and is the ideal cosmetic complement to the popular C 368 Hybrid Digital DAC Amplifier. The C 568 plays both CD and CD-R/W and decodes MP3 and WMA files copied to CD-R for up to 10 hours of continuous play.

For added convenience, the NAD player offers “Repeat” function for 1 song, 1 disc, or A- B repeat, “program play” with direct access from the remote control and “forward” and “reverse” skip and search functions. An informative VFD display gives complete information about tracks and time.

In addition, the remote control handset provides direct track access and programming facilities as well, saving the user’s time when they’re storing preferred song titles. Up to 40 tracks can be programmed.

“Replacing any award-winning product with another can be risky business but that is essentially what we have done with the C 568,” commented Greg Stidsen, NAD's Director of Technology and Product Planning. "However NAD is all about continuous improvement and we were confident we could make significant upgrades to an already proven product. True to NAD’s design philosophy, we’ve focused our investment in areas that will provide the most sonic benefit and avoided the frills that only add cost and complexity. The result is a remarkable CD player and outstanding value."
Complete Features of the NAD C 568 CD Player:

C 338 Hybrid Digital Integrated Amplifier

This model is previewing at CEDIA 2016 in Dallas, and arriving to market in late autumn. On the surface, the C 338 appears to be the latest iteration of carefully engineered, great-sounding integrated amplifiers from NAD. A more in-depth look revealsthe C 338 features a 2 X 50W continuous amplifier utilizing NAD’s Hybrid Digital amplifier technology. This produces a remarkable 150 Watts of Dynamic Power at 4 Ohms, all with virtually no noise or distortion.

The C 338’s active power supply, controlled by NAD’s latest Asymmetrical PowerDrive, is capable of 160 watts continuously and over 300 watts instantaneously to allow for short-term musical transients. Yet it consumes less than half the power as the similarly powered Class AB NAD C 326BEE. It can operate flawlessly with any AC mains voltage from 100 to 240 volts and provides pure DC power to all the various stages of the C 338. This highly efficient supply also provides near perfect regulation of voltage across a wide range of conditions and provides a solid noise-free foundation for the amplifying stages.

The preamp stage is no less impressive featuring a solid state volume control, with a hi-res dynamic range of 120dB in precise 0.5dB steps, as used in ultra-high end preamps. The onboard DAC, using established high-end practice, uses eight DAC channels configured as a Dual Differential array to also boast 120dB dynamic range. Vinyl lovers rejoice at the return of the famous NAD MM Phono stage: wide dynamic range, with high overload margin and low noise, super accurate RIAA equalization, and a capacitor-less infrasonic filter extracts every ounce of energy from your LPs.

                    Naples, FL- August 23, 2016.

Dynamic Sounds Associates will introduce the greatly-anticipated Amp I mono block amplifier at the Rocky Mountain Audio Fest this October. As with all of their recently-debuted electronics, the long-standing solid state vs. tube performance debate is transcended by the Amp I’s supremely musical rendering of the original source.

Each Amp I produces 125 watts of pure Class A power and is of solid state design employing an all-JFET/MOSFET design using DC coupled circuit topology following a source follower input with blocking capacitors to provide a constant input impedance and prevent input DC offsets from damaging speakers.
The amplifier has no loop feedback to prevent transient intermodulation distortion and to provide a very wide power bandwidth without concern for output phase shifts caused by speaker loading or amplifier time delay. The massive output driver uses 8 of the legendary Hitachi power MOSFETs in a push-pull configuration with a bias current of 3 amps to achieve 125W of Class A power output into an 8 ohm load.
Each unit has separate power transformers, power supplies and voltage regulators for the amplifier, driver, and output stages.
With internally mounted, fan cooled, power heat sinks, the small footprint chassis: 17” (W) x 11”(D) x 18” (H) makes it easy to fit in any audio environment.
                    Design
                    • An all-JFET/MOSFET design uses DC coupled circuit topology following a source follower input with blocking capacitors to provide a constant input impedance and prevent input DC offsets from damaging speakers.
                    • No loop feedback to prevent transient intermodulation distortion and to provide a very wide power bandwidth without concern for output phase shifts caused by speaker loading or amplifier time delay.
                    • Massive push-pull output configuration with a bias current of 3 amps to achieve 125W of Class A power output into an 8 ohm load.

                    Features
                    • Legendary Hitachi power MOSFETs utilized in the output stage
                    • Separate power transformers, power supplies and voltage regulators for the amplifier, driver, and output stages.
                    • Output stage with 0.1F (100,000mF) of total filter capacitance including 80,000mF following the output stage voltage regulators
                    • Small footprint 17” (W) x 11”(D) x 18” (H) makes it easy to fit in any audio environment.

                    Innovations
                    • The output stage is configured around two internally mounted heat sink “towers” cooled by ultra-low noise fans to provide many years of reliable operation

New Spendor D9 to make US Debut at Rocky Mountain AudioFest
Bluebird Music and Fort Collins Audio present Spendor at Denver's RMAF Room 6018, October 7-9, 2016.

                      Introducing the New D9

The new Spendor D9 is the latest addition to Spendor's high-end D Line loudspeakers. More than just a bigger D7, the D9 is an elegant, modern, 3-way loudspeaker which delivers music with exceptional resolution and a vibrant realism with any genre. It's easy to drive and highly efficient.
                      KEY TECHNOLOGIES

Spendor LPZ (Linear Pressure Zone) Tweeter

Spendor's custom LPZ tweeter is built around a stainless steel front plate which forms a damped acoustic chamber directly in front of a lightweight woven soft-dome fabric diaphragm. The front plate incorporates a phase correcting micro foil to equalize sound wave path lengths across the diaphragm surface, simultaneously it generates a symmetrical pressure environment on both faces of the tweeter diaphragm so the tweeter operates in a balanced linear mode. This results in the ideal linear acoustic output over a wide frequency range.

New Drive Units Developed For D9

Mid-bass is handled by one 7" drive unit featuring Spendor's advanced EP77 polymer cone. Housed in an isolated enclosure at the top of the cabinet, it handles only mid-range frequencies which eliminates mid-low frequency intermodulation. It delivers music with superb clarity and vanishingly low coloration.

Two 7" low frequency drivers have ultra-rigid, two part bonded, lightweight Kevlar composite cone assemblies. The drivers are in a large dedicated low-frequency acoustic enclosure. The result is accurate powerful bass without distortion or compression.

All three drivers feature cast magnesium alloy chassis, high efficiency motor systems, optimized electro-dynamic damping, and excellent thermal dissipation for wide dynamic range. New polymer surrounds with very stable molecular composition reduce driver 'break-in' time significantly.

New Fifth Generation Spendor Linear Flow Port

The D9 incorporates Spendor's Linear flow port technology. Inspired by Formula 1 diffuser technology, it offers significant advantages over any conventional port or transmission line loading. An aerodynamically profiled central baffle creates a tapered twin-venturi port. A carefully optimized combination of bass driver electrical and mechanical parameters, enclosure volume, air flow and wide-band (very low-Q, very low phase shift) port tuning allows the D9 to deliver deep, fast, articulate bass in a way no conventional loudspeaker can match.

                      Unconstrained Internal Airflow

Inside the D9, the sound path, from the bass drivers to the listening room is unrestricted, there is no low frequency damping. As a result the Spendor D9 is entirely free from damping material energy storage effects, the advantage is clearly audible, music sounds naturally fast, agile and coherent.

                      Spendor Dynamic Cabinet Damping

Timing is fundamental to the musical experience. In conventional loudspeakers rigid high density cabinet panels are mass-damped to reduce cabinet-talk but result in unacceptable blurring and slowing of the sound. Spendor employs a unique internal bracing design utilizing asymmetric aperture bracing of the cabinet to disperse internal waves. Dynamic Damping with small low mass constrained polymer dampers at key energy interface points instantly convert any spurious energy in the cabinet structure into inaudible heat. The result is a silent rigid cabinet and a naturally fast clear sound.

                      Stabilizer Inserts

The base of the cabinet has four levelling feet attached via forged steel inserts to hold the cabinet rock steady. The elimination of micro-vibration allows fine musical detail to be reproduced with delicate precision.

                      Crossover Network

A meticulously refined crossover network with precision wound inductors and high-linearity plastic film capacitors integrates the drivers seamlessly in a minimum phase alignment. Each crossover component and every complete pair of Spendor loudspeakers is calibrated and matched to stringent broadcast reference standards.

                      High Efficiency

90dB efficiency and an easy to drive 8 ohm load ensure complete compatibility with a wide range of amplifiers and cables. With substantial power handling the D9's can play very loud without sounding compressed. At low replay levels the sound is always clear and balanced.
