  • RMAF Get together for dinner.

Anyone else going to RMAF this year? I was hoping we could have a group dinner, either Friday or Saturday, if enough want to. If this is a duplicate thread, sorry.

I am game! We had a really nice dinner get together last year at The Bent Fork (other than their screwing up our reservation). Let's make it happen! Who else is coming? Would like to see everyone!

Which show is that? When I looked up Mile High Show in Denver, there were a few different events.

As far as places to eat and meet, I suggest Darcy's Bistro and Pub. It's very reasonable price wise and has good food and drink in a casual atmosphere. I'll be more than happy to make reservations (though I'm not sure if one is necessary), if enough people show interest and we pick a night. I suggest Friday, at 7PM. Of course, if anyone else has another location and time in mind, please comment.

Ok, I need a headcount for Friday night at Darci's, I count nine of us are interested (that's including significant others, as mentioned). I'll make a reservation for twelve, if Darci's accepts reservations, to account for any others that might be interested, unless I hear differently by Sunday evening. How's that work for everyone?

I figure 7 is a time for people to start coming in, but see no problem if people start drifting in a little later. We will probably chat a little prior to ordering food. Heck, I'll more than likely have a beer before I order. It's a five minute walk from the show to the restaurant. Hope everyone can make it so we can meet the people behind the posts!

I'm not going this year. Should be a good one in the recently renovated Marriott. Enjoy and take pictures!

Would anyone be up for maybe an early AM breakfast at the Pancake House? One of Andre's favorite haunts. Maybe a Sat or Sunday AM?

Yes, please don't be a stranger and join us! The more the merrier. If not, please introduce yourselves at the show!

Thanks so much for making the arrangements Steve!

I made a last-minute decision to come and support Anne Bisson's launch of Four Seasons in Jazz at the show. Arriving Thur and leaving Sat - so if there's space, I'd like to join in the Friday night dinner.

Also, if anyone wants to demo a brand new Direct-to-Disc album in their room, please PM me.
