The Ypsilon MC16 sold about six weeks ago to a friend for the listing price, but I was close to the point where I would have taken any reasonable offer. I apologize for not going back to the listing and noting that it sold. For what it may be worth, several months ago I posted a lengthy two part review of the top of the line Audio Note phonostage at Dagogo.com. The second installment of the review contained a very lengthy comparison of the Ypsilon MC16 (copper), the silver version and finally the step up which I eventually bought the Audio Note S9M which is silver. While there are many factors which affect the sound of a step up, the metallurgy of the transformer core as well as the wire used are pretty dramatic.
