    Used for approximately three years, just back from Japan after total rebuild and like new. Only parting with because just received new Atlas SL cartridge for the system.

    Asking $3500.

          That is a great deal I can not see anyone not liking this cartridge and at that price you would need a ski mask and a gun to get a better deal

                Crossing my fingers you'll like the SL better Myles. The website has some clear warnings but your electronics sure qualify for SL use.

                  You are absolutely right and always perceptive Jack! Gain is not an option here as have no problem with the ZYX's 0.23 mV, Ortofon's 0.2 mV output nor even the Ikeda's 0.16 mV. The Atlas SL is 0.25 mV. I think the "loss" of energy is basically a function of insufficient gain. Low output doesn't have to mean less energy as evidenced by the A95.

                  Andre hasn't commented but he has the Etna SL; he hasn't mentioned any issues to me in his system with the Etna.
