Source to speakers - Lyra Kleos cartridge, VPI Super Scoutmaster Reference turntable, Zesto phono stage (with Telefunken NOS 12AX7 tubes), Viola Labs Cadenza preamp (borrowed) - normally I use a VPI Renaissance MK3, Mcintosh MC-601 mono block amps, Kharma DB9-s speakers, digital is handled by the AURALiC Vega DAC, and Aries streamer - being served by a Synlogic 10tb server. Purist Aqueous XLR interconnects and Purist Aqueous speaker wiring. Zesto to preamp is handled by Kimber Silver RCA cables. The tonearm cable is upgraded to Nordost, and the phono cables are Purist Aqueous as well. At this point my MC-601 are in my opinion the "weak link". I would like to have all Viola Labs electronics - preferrably the Sonata preamp and the Bravo amp.. The tremendous amount of money needed for that (about $75k?) is definitely out of my reach at this time...

Beautiful system, Aleks! What color are your DB9s? Gorgeous!

The DB9s are a aubergine colour. Sadly, that colour never really comes through - you have to be very close to them to see it...

I like the way your rack is out in the room a lot better to work on than mine that is on the wall other than it takes a bit of floor room.

Nice looking system by the way.

Thank you! It took a lot of time, money and many mistakes (from which I have learned some things)..

The rack has a similar construction to the Salamander racks but much beefier, who is the manufacturer?
