Thank you Tom, you're welcome to stop by anytime!
The AS is an oddity even among the top tables, very few people were ever of them.

David, that's a magnificent collection, I'm trying to imagine the sound, well done! I've always been an admirer of the Goldmund Reference, also known as the poster child for TAS and HP. To me its the automotive equivalent of the Countach which every kid had a poster of. How often do you take it for a spin and how does it stack up against the AF1 sonically? I can tell the Neumann DST is the pride of your cart collection - very cool indeed.

Thanks Rob! Sonically the Goldmund and the AF-1 are pretty different from one another, hence why I kept both. One is a European expression of the art the other Japanese. Its like listening to different orchestras with different conductors in different halls. Ergonomically the AF-1 is much more straight forward to setup and use. The Goldmund arm will try your patience when changing cartridges.

The Neumann DST cartridges are very unique in their presentation, there are zero artifacts and nothing additional in the sound.

Thanks David for the pictures! That people is an analog lover's wet dream!

And I always thought you had to go to the Far East to see a horn setup like that. Reminds me just a little of JDZA's setup.

David, someone asked me and I don't know the answer, were these horns once shown at a New York Audio show many years ago?

This one and a couple more are in the US and I guarantee you that no one has these horns mated to Lamm SETs, its another level of Natural sound!

The Bionors in this system are the same pair we showed at CES and NY Show.

David, I also love the way you photographed your room. Beautiful warmth and subtle lighting cues give it a great sense of intimacy and the backlighting of some gear gives it a beautiful aura. Nicely done!

Thanks Allen, photography's the other hobby. In another lifetime I used to even exhibit my work in a few European galleries. The intimacy you see in the pictures is the way the room is. Its all casual and with the horns you can sit almost anywhere in the room that you like and still get great sound.

That's a stunning room you have there
You must have put a lot of effort and money into building a system like that, I can only imagine how good it sounds
