    Happy July 1 and July 4 weekend!

    For the first time in many years, both Canadians and Americans get to celebrate their Independence Day on the same weekend! This basically means that there is a party going on for some 360 MIllion people this weekend!

    However you celebrate, enjoy your day, be proud to show your colours and give thanks for being one of the lucky ones who live in two of the greatest nations on earth. We indeed have much to celebrate.

              Yes, it's called Canada Day, but ours is on July 1.

              Thanks, John- there was one of those videos of the guy interviewing young people on the beach- I think it's in San Diego, and 1.5 of 10 even had a clue as to what July 4 represents. The interviewer had Jesse Ventura as a founding father, said July 4 was our liberation from Chinese oppression, etc.
              Pretty funny, but sad. History is what Kim Kardashian was doing last week. We are doomed.

                  Howard Stern started that, then Jay Leno copied him and a few others now go out on the streets and ask people questions. The answers or non answers are scary. They don't know who the VP of the US is but they know who which celebrity is married to whom.
