Autotune is most commonly used for pseudo-singers who couldn't carry a tune in a bucket. If someone attempting to play an instrument needs autotune they should not be referred to as an actual musician.

Add Taylor Swift too. Three years ago, she sang a duet with Stevie Nicks at the Grammys and was so bad Nicks shot her a glance that only meant one thing. Can you stay in tune?

I'm less bothered by it as a subtle "correction" than I am the deliberate use of it as a sound effect in neb-soul and hip-hop. It has a sameness that makes a lackluster piece of music or artistry truly mediocre.

Same here. Thankfully it appears the novelty is fading and it is being used less and less even by the guys that made it famous/infamous. Chris Brown probably takes off a second for every new tattoo he gets.

Isn't Chris Brown the guy that taught cell phone etiquette to Rihanna?

The post-Rihanna interview where he apparently broke a dressing room mirror (not on camera as far as I know) may only be topped by that interview of Martha Stewart before she got sent to prison. Martha was cooking on the show and the host asked, "So, what about that case?" and Martha started to chop the head of lettuce with great violence. That one is on camera. You know me, just a celebrity fan boi.

The funny thing about Martha Stewart was that we have so many people on WS that commit insider trading and get away with it and yet Martha got burned for trying to protect her money before the stock price crashed and went to jail for it. If you are rich and famous and have never been in trouble with the law, I doubt you ever expected in your life you would be sent to prison. I know Martha was a threat to society and we all felt safer when they sent her to a cupcake prison, but...

Yeah, I wasn't going there, but that video, which I'm sure is around, is pretty hilarious- she's really PISSED when she's asked the question, and just grits her teeth and starts going all samurai chef on those lettuce heads. Check it out if you never saw it.
