Times have certainly changed. I remember starting back in the sixties that kids would be out for hours and hours. We had no more than 50-55 kids last night and it lasted for less than 2 hours.

It was a mob scene yesterday in the UES with kids hitting all the businesses as soon as school let out until early evening.

Here, the little gremlins plowed through 100+ pieces of candy - which seemed rather modest.
The moms in a tizzy and the youngsters were more concerned with keeping their P's chilled than double dipping.
Everyone was off the streets by 7:30pm, a far cry from the Halloween of my day.

When I was a kid, we would cover the whole neighborhood without our parents. We would start at dusk and go till about 10:00 pm. We would come home with two bags or more full of candy. This was the late sixties, those were the days.

Anyone have this one? I have it on CD to see if I liked it enough to warrant the purchase on vinyl. Not my cuppa, but quite eerie.
