something new . Apple has developed a new set of wireless headphones called AirPods, which are designed to work with the iPhone 7. The AirPods are truly wireless, without a cable connecting the left and right headphone. Apple developed a new wireless technology (based on Bluetooth Low Energy) that handles both audio and the wireless connection to the phone or Apple Watch. They have sensors to detect when they are in your ears and "motion accelerometers" to activate Siri. Apple says the AirPods have five hours of battery life and come with a battery case that provides 24 hours of total use. The AirPods will be available in late October for $159Chris

im not an apple fan this is just another reason not to switch now, NPR radio was running the story all day yesterday. the only issue with android OS is lack of apps for which apple has many I would like to have.Comment

I am a two phone user , Samsung note and iPhone 6s plus yes I am old and avoiding glasses . porn is better too. no deal for the new iPhone I was till the headphone jack went away .
ill bite when some company makes a adaptor that does not use the charger port . apple is a company that operates like a communist country . if someone makes a device that will last a day is wireless and I can plug my own what ever headphone then ill buy the phoneanalog stuff.

Well not the first in line but my wife and I upgraded as the kids phones (5s) needed to be replaced so they get the hand me downs. It's interesting that because of my job I generally have a waterproof case on the phone anyway so I have never had an issue with getting one wet. Hopefully the new camera will live up to the hype and I won't have to carry a point and shoot around very much any more.
