Ouch. I have an S6 and except for the lack of certain apps I love mine. -
I bet Samsung doesn't even make the battery that is blowing up, but there is always the possibility that the phone is shorting out
the batteries, there should be protection circuits for that. Samsung makes more phones than anyone , I doubt they made the battery but many phones go on fire its due to the lipo or life batteries they use . if the chemicals inside contact the air they burst into flames . I use these batteries in my RC helicoptors big ones . google lipo fires , phones do this too I had one years ago that went up in flames in my car while driving and charging it lol . I had to run out of the car. having said that its sad this happened to them there phones are much better than apple and cheaper . apple is a rip off but I own one anyway .analog stuff.

Sorry I wasn't clear. What I meant is the Best Buy stores, at least in New York, don't stock cell phone batteries. You need to order online.
