I was watching some reruns today of AMERICAN PICKERS. Mike made a deal on a McIntosh SS Iuner, preamp, and power amp for $2K.

i started out all SS but moved over to all tube, Eventually switched head amp (lower noise) and power amp(higher power) back to SS for higher performance....Leave a comment:
